Notice to Receive Sealed Bids for:

CITY OF CALLAWAY, FLORIDA

LIFT STATION CA4 REHABILITATION


The Project consists of improvements to the existing lift station for the City of Callaway, Florida. Lift Station CA4 Improvements will include a new protective liner system, new pumps, new pump rails and replacement of check and plug valves with associated fittings. The project also has an Additive Alternate to make repairs to an existing manhole and a point repair of an existing gravity sewer main located at the lift station site. The CONTRACTOR shall provide all materials, equipment, and labor to complete the project.


The City of Callaway will receive Sealed Bids for the construction of the City of Callaway, Lift Station CA 4 Rehabilitation Improvements project, at the City of Callaway's City Hall located at 6601 East Highway 22, Callaway, Florida 32404, until 11:00 a.m. (CST) on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at which time the Bids received will be "pub licly" opened and read. All Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked:


"Sealed Bid: City of Callaway Lift Station CA4 Rehabilitation


Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.


The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Dewberry|Preble Rish. Prospective Bidders may purchase printed copies of the Bidding Documents at 203 Aberdeen Parkway, Panama City Florida, 32444 Monday through Friday between 8:30am5:00pm. A nonrefundable deposit of $100.00 for each set is required at the time of pickup. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "Dewberry| PrebleRish". Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including any Addenda, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.


Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.


A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid shall accompany the Bid. The City of Callaway reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The City also reserves the right to reject contractors who in the City's opinion are not qualified to perform the work. All Bids shall be firm for a period of 90 days after opening. This includes material prices. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes.
